Volunteers are an integral part of Lizie dan la main's work and provide an invaluable service to our visually impaired members of all ages.

We have a wide range of volunteering opportunities and we hope to be able to match you with an opportunity that suits your skills and interests. These are just some of the things you could get involved with:

• Organising social activities and outings
• Helping with a holiday scheme
• Mentoring and buddying
• Home visiting
• Helping with administration
• Volunteer driving

Do I need to have qualifications or experience?

No - training is provided and a member of staff will provide ongoing, informal support. Our volunteers come from a range of backgrounds - some are retired, others are students or people seeking new skills and experience.

How much time do I have to give?

It is entirely up to you - you may give as much or as little time as you like. We have a wide range of roles available so we hope to be able to find one to suit you.
